Quire from Moments is an audio-visual performance that arranges and overlays recordings of the artist's playing musical instruments in nature, reconstructing the sensory experience of encountering moments in nature. The artist enters the natural environment, focusing on the individual's sensory experience of encountering nature, playing musical instruments, and filming it through video. The recorded sounds are played from the senses derived from various natural places, and all have unique sounds. Records with different sounds are summoned to the venue through performance and reconstructed in the present moment. By spontaneously arranging videos or appearing at the same time, the sounds derived from the senses of the moments facing nature are overlapped to form a narrative and compose music. Through this, it attempts to gather the moments of encountering nature and recollect them through sound.
Quire from Moments는 작가가 자연 속에서 기록한 연주를 나열하거나 중첩시켜 자연을 마주한 순간의 감각을 재구성하는 오디오비주얼 퍼포먼스이다. 작가는 자연 속으로 들어가 자연을 마주하는 개인의 감각에 집중하며 악기를 연주하고 이를 영상으로 기록한다. 기록된 연주의 소리는 여러 자연 장소를 대상으로 삼아 비롯된 감각으로부터 연주되어 모두 고유한 소리를 갖는다. 저마다 다른 소리를 지닌 기록들은 퍼포먼스를 통해 공연장에 소환되어 현재 시간의 선상에서 재구성된다. 즉흥적으로 영상을 나열하거나 동시에 등장시키는 행위는 자연을 마주한 순간들의 감각으로부터 비롯된 소리를 중첩시키며 서사를 이루어내고 음악을 구성해나간다. 이를 통해 자연을 마주하였던 순간들을 한데 모아 소리로 다시금 기억하기를 시도한다.
